1x4096线阵相位型液晶调制器是光束偏转与印刷系统的理想器件。这一器件运用了基于CMOS技术的标准液晶技术。基于CMOS结构的阵列为实现的高分辨率光刻技术提供了有效的工具,此外,COMS芯片内自带电路大大简化了寻址,随机转向,任意波前控制等过程。
当填充ZTN(Zero-Twist Nematic)液晶时,这一器件即可被用于可编程一维衍射光束偏转。通过读取不同的光栅分布文件即可在液晶阵列上形成相应类型的光栅, 从而实现可编程衍射相位光栅的功能 当填充铁电液晶(Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal)时, 该阵列可实现可编程连续偏振旋转。如果入射光为偏振光并配合一个检偏器,则可将偏振旋转转化为模拟振幅调制。在FLC(Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal)线性阵列中,将获得高达2790Hz的帧率。高速印刷领域是这种空间光调制器的一个典型应用领域。
